This course is a must-have, as it meets the legal requirements of provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and meets Canadian Standards Association (CSA) guidelines for Basic (Emergency) first Aid. Includes the most up-to-date first aid and CPR guidelines. Enroll today to gain the knowledge and confidence to handle any emergency situation efficiently.

EFA Full Course

Duration​​

  • Basic (Emergency) First Aid & CPR C - 7.5 hours in class

  • Basic (Emergency) First Aid & CPR C - 4.5 hours in class  + 4 hours online learning           *online learning time will vary depending on learner

Prerequisites

  • This course has no prerequisites.

Completion 

  • Successfully demonstrate skills and critical steps

  • Min. 75% mark for written knowledge evaluation

  • Attend and participate in 100% of the course

Certification

  • 3-year certification in Basic (Emergency) First Aid, CPR Level C, and AED

  • Basic (Emergency) First Aid certificate (digital certificate issue upon successful completion)

Recertification

  • Basic (Emergency) First Aid & CPR C -  5 hours in-class, must be completed before 3 year expiry date.

  • Preparing to respond

  • The EMS system

  • Check, Call, Care

  • Airway emergencies

  • Breathing and Circulation emergencies

  • First aid for respiratory and cardiac arrest

  • Wound care

  • Includes any other content required by specific legislation

  • Basic (Emergency) First Aid & CPR C - 5 hours in-class.

  • Must have a valid Basic First Aid & CPR, Emergency First Aid &CPR or equivalent certificate.
